Caros coolo that I don't Havo

I would like to take this opportunity just to let everyone know that I have a fascination with the Corvair Vans. These inparticular are from 1963. You got it, they are older than the hills. Also they are sorta rare being that they didn't even make 5,000 of these. Call them what you will, Shaggon' Waggons or Hoopty Vans they are still a piece of this great nation's eclectic history.
No joke, I cut out a little add for one of these vans from the weekly car trader magazine that was advertising that so and so car lot had one in kokomo IN for only $3,000. Little did we know that Mary's cell phone number was mysteriously misprinted in the ad untill someone called asking about the van that I had taped to the wall. That was crazy, being that I also wanted the van. It looked just like the white one with no side windows, but only the main color was the orange red color shown in the bottom picture.
I fear that if I ever get one of these rides, I may have a serious hard time repairing it if something goes wrong. But untill then I may have to stick to the 65 Cadillac (example above)that someone donated to IWU in Marion. As of like, last month, I think they wanted $8,000 for it. I am telling you...MINT CONDISH! I sat in it and instantly felt my coolness level go up, and my weekly gasoline gasoline budget. I am pretty sure with its 492 cubic inch engine, which is almost 4x the size of our little four banger that is nestled inside our Kia, will surely be getting the "Earth Biscuits" out on the East coast something to talk about. No Kia will ever reach the the level of romantiscism that the Cadillac has had ever since the beginning. -jon
