Grampy
So, on October 2nd, it was discovered that my grandfather had died suddenly and unexpectedly in his sleep. I wanted to take this opportunity to express my appreciation for him. As some of you know, I grew up not really knowing my mom, for various reasons. I knew who she was, but never had a chance to meet her. I have a whole family out in Massachusettes that I recently just started a relationship with (including my mom). This is an awesome family....and a big family. Pictured below is just the Farrell cousins and Grandpa Pete and Grandma Patty. This is a man that really cared for his family. Before I even knew him, he journeyed out to my wedding (a 15 hour drive) just to meet me and congratulate me. This was our first meeting 5 years ago. Since then we have been making a yearly trek to Massachustetts to see our family. Grandpa Pete always opened his home and his heart to us and I felt that he had a deep love for me and my sisters. I am just very thankful to have known him, I just wish I had a little more time.
Grandpa Pete, you will be missed.
An Irish Blessing for you:
May the road rise with you, May the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, And rains fall soft upon your fields, And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollows of his hand.
In the kitchen Thanksgiving Day.
Grandpa Pete, you will be missed.
An Irish Blessing for you:

Mary,
Sorry to hear about your Grampa. I can't believe he came 15 hours to meet you at your wedding! That's amazing! I'm sure he will be greatly missed.
Blessings,
~Jamie
