The Negative Side of Positiveness

I would have to say that there is some sort of Romance with the Black and White Negative. I use digital 100% of the time, so going back and dusting these photos off brings back a lot of history.
Negatives are something to behold. Though archaic, they still hold an amazing ability to capture and retain and image. Over-exposed and under-exposed images still hold a secret of what was there in the time of capture. The depth of the image information is something to fathom. Although digital has made leaps and bounds, I don't the negative will fully disappear. Like I said, there is a Romance. Watching your image on the paper come to life swimming in photo chemicals is lovely.
Photo project rejects a good share of the time turned out to be better than the ones for the projects themeselves. It is cool to see Mary all dolled up like an old movie starlet. I will most likely print that one for the house.
We, like most every one here in this great country, are getting ready for the most stressfull time of the year. Ahh, the Christmas Season. Amazing that the season of love and giving is also the season of the highest suicide rates and theft. God Bless America.
