The Cards
In college they never really talked very much about screen printing from a graphic designers perspective. Granted, design and color theory all the same, but there is a whole different set of rules as from regular print. From the computer screen to the final product, a design goes through many processes that could change the the overall look of a finished piece. So one must predict how things are going to look in the end given the type of screen used and how much it is exposed, or the specific colors used (because some are thinner than others), or the color or type of fabric used because that will determine whether or not you will need to design an underlay of white to compensate that the fabric might show through. It is alot to know.
We also deal with many customers who have no idea what they are talking about. Example:"I sent you guys a high rez vector image". I kid you not, that was from today.
PDA is a really good place to work and anyplace that lets me wear flip-flops and shorts is pretty cool in my book.
