Today I was reading Baxter's online journal and came accross a very romantic sound clip. Any of you who are married or dream of being married should listen to it. It made me cry today thinking of all the little things Jon does to make me happy. People always wonder why I got married so young, but I never do. I fell in love and that was it for me, I couldn't imagine my life without Jon. Marraige is the best thing God ever invented. VBS is No Vacation

Well, here it is. The Final. That is all I got to say about that.
In other happenings, Mary and I volunteered to photograph the VBS that was going down this week at our church. As of yet, it is quite fun and we have two more days left. After the second day I realized that the rest of the week is going to be the same shots over and over again but this kids like seeing themselves on the big screen the next day and I am pretty sure people will catch on if we kept passing off the slide show from the first night. I would post a few pictures here but our fellow congregational members might have something to say about that. So, you will not get to see any of them.
Hope to see some of you Saturday at Kory's Bachelor pad - Jonny

Burning the Candle at all Four Ends

Mary basically started drawing this painting out last week. Only to not work on it practically all last weekend do to heavy backpain and a visiting sister. So that left actually three days to finish by the thursday due date. If you can see by Mary's elbow, that whole the bottom right hand corner is not yet finished. I took this picture shortly before I went to bed around 3:30 AM SATURDAY MORNING.
Nobody can burn the midnight oil like Mary can. I think I can pretty much swear by that. She painted almost a total of 40 hours since Wednesday bouncing around her Starbucks schedule only to work on it all through the night on Friday and finally finishing it up at 7 am on Saturday. Which means the wet paint signs that she had taped on the frame at the show starting at 10 am weren't just for looks. So she is pretty much exhausted as of now. Mary is my hero.
Or hero-es? Either way I am totally proud of her for kicking this monster out in basically a weeks time. This painting is so dang sweet, and no not because it is of me. - jonny
