Wow it's been a while.

Above are my two newest pieces.
Well, I guess I should give some updates for some of you who never talk to us or see us. Jon is in his third week at his new job. He is working at NAPA Balkamp, Inc. (NAPA auto parts) as a graphic designer. He enjoys the job. He designs catalogs, etc. and does some product photography. If you are wondering, yes it is Dave Kura's old job. Dave got him in the door after he quit, and it has been quite a blessing. Alot of our financial burdens (that some of you were aware of) are starting to lift. We can now budget for food and gas, which is a relief. In almost five years of marraige we have just been living on the grace of God to survive. If you are in a similar situation, don't loose hope. Help is just around the corner.
The first question everyone always asks me is if I am still painting, and the answer is...kinda. I usually only paint when I have a show. I have not done much with my art yet, but know that God must have something pretty good in store for me with so many disapointments in it. I feel like people always like my work, but not enough to buy it, which sucks, but I get to have sweet work to hang in my apartment. Right now I am working at Starbucks as a shift manager (I just got promoted woohoo). The job is ok, but not my dream...I'm still waiting to see what that is.
If we haven't talked in a while, shoot me an email. I would love to hear from you.
Blessings, Mary
